Asis and I went home after our karaoke and drinking session at Santa Fe Cafe (branch #1 – near the port) that night but the rest of the gang had another drinking sesh at the rented house #2. So yea, we woke up early to witness the sunrise. It was really cold that morning. We asked one of the locals if the weather was usually like that but no. It was only during that time and said it was just the winds of winter northeast monsoon.

Witnessed this beautiful daybreak! It brought me joy and peace, and being with Asis made the moment more special. We definitely started our day right.
“We can only appreciate the miracle of a sunrise if we have waited in the darkness.”
We walked back home (the beach was just a few meters from our place) and prepared breakfast. Thank goodness, the store near our place had pancit, pandesal, eggs, canned goods, 3 in 1 coffee, and such, or else we would have gone to the grocery stores/markets in the town proper which were still 2 or 3 kilometers away from us.
Around 10 AM, Asis, Jandel (my brother), Dee, Desz, and I went to the beachfront near Kota Beach Resort. It was beautiful and it was actually my first time seeing fine white sand. After our photo ops, we just went to a nearby restaurant that served fresh fruit shakes, and we chilled out and talked about anything under the sun.

Went to home #2 to meet the rest of the gang and ate lunch at MJ Square food court (that’s Santa Fe Cafe branch #2 referring to the 2 group photos above). There were tons of restaurants to choose from here and most of them offer international dishes at affordable prices. Hinding hindi ka talaga magugutom sa islang ito. (≧∇≦’)
We soon went to Paradise/Sandira Beach Resort and spent the rest of our time chilling and having fun.

As you can see there’s so much happening in one picture. We were all doing our own thing, but most of us were busy taking photos of each other and the scenery.
Anyhoo, after our dinner that day Asis and I decided to go home and rest. We didn’t go with the gang to have another night partaaaay. We didn’t want to tire ourselves out since we both have learned our lesson to not push our bodies to our physical limits. We all should know limits and stay within them. Let’s not take our bodies for granted. No one wants to get sick on vacation, right? Yes, a vacation should be fun but you should do it right.
Day two was exciting, tiring, but nevertheless fun! Okay, laters. ♡
