May 3, Saturday
We started our day at Okkio Café. I ordered a matcha samidori for my first caffeine fix, paired with some savoury pastries for breakfast. After that, we headed to the Café Apartment and decided to take the stairs all the way up. It was a climb, so we ended up stopping at another café to rest. I got an iced egg coffee there. Second caffeine of the day.
We wandered around after, walking under the heat, checking out clothing apartments, just going wherever our feet took us. But the heat was something else, so we got tired pretty quickly.
By noon, we headed to Susu Waterfall Chicken, a place Asis had been wanting to try. It was tucked inside a small alley, but definitely worth finding. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. After that meal, we went back to our Airbnb for a siesta.
Around 17:00, we went out again and walked around the area near our place. No plans and no real destination, just wandering and trying whatever food we came across. We ended up at a pho place filled with locals, which is always a good sign. After that, we strolled near the river, and before heading home, I got myself another egg coffee. Third caffeine of the day. Then we called it a night.
When we were already in bed, I saw online that Daesung had just finished his concert that same day. The venue was only ten minutes away from us. The regret. I really wish I checked the tour dates earlier. We didn’t do much this day, and seeing that just made me a bit sad. But that was day 3.
