Feb 3, 2024, Saturday – On the Road in Busuanga

Day two was all about going with the flow. Instead of signing up for a guided tour, we grabbed a rental car and hit the road. We didn’t have a set plan, just trusted Google to lead us to some cool spots. Busuanga isn’t exactly packed with tourist attractions, and we decided to skip the long drive up to the Safari in the north. But cruising around the island, taking in the scenery, was a blast.

Later in the day, we tackled the challenge of climbing Mt. Tapyas. It was a sweaty trek up those 724 steps, but the sunset views from the top made it all worthwhile. Yeah, it was scorching hot, but the breathtaking sights definitely made up for it.
