Bicol 2022

December 25 – 29, 2022 | Legazpi City, Albay, Bicol & White Pebbles Beach Resort, Minalabac, Camarines Sur

December turned out to be an unfavourable month to explore Bicol. It was consistently windy, and the weather remained gloomy throughout our stay. Nevertheless, I personally enjoyed the cold weather. It was a disappointment, though, that we couldn’t catch a full glimpse of the majestic Mount Mayon volcano. Thick clouds always seemed to hover around its peak. Also, we were originally planning to visit Caramoan, but our tour guide strongly advised against it due to the harsh waves and intermittent rain at that time. As an alternative, we made a stop at White Pebbles Beach Resort (Minalabac, Camarines Sur) on our way back to Manila.

Can’t wait to explore more places in Bicol! I’m just not looking forward to the long travel time and the challenging road conditions on the way. The roads are often long, winding, and in poor condition.

My highlights of the trip:

  • First time to drive an ATV in Cagsawa Ruins Park. I almost crashed twice. Lol
  • The view from Highlands Park!!
  • Get to see a quick glimpse of the Mayon’s peak
  • 1st Colonial’s sili (chili) ice cream was *chef’s kiss*
  • Perya!!!
  • Seeing my cousin and her family

These are the photos I took using my Instax.

Photos taken using 35mm Co’s reloader reusable film camera, Fujifilm 200

P.S. I have more photos taken using my phone, but I’m too lazy to edit. All these photos uploaded in this post are raw. And finally! This post is sooooo long overdue.
