Oh wow, it took me almost three months to write this second part, and I’m not sure if the things I’m going to write here are accurate. I have a terrible memory and I am also a lazy bum, so this entry will be short.
Nov 25, Friday – We rented a scooter and went to Nacpan Beach. It was around a 45-minute to an hour’s drive from the town proper. It has a long stretch of shoreline with soft golden sand, crystal-clear water, and a long line of palm trees on the side. It was not crowded when we got there, so it was really nice. We stayed there for about 3 hours and decided to return to our Airbnb since the weather was really unpredictable. It actually started to rain when we were halfway back. I must say that the ride home was one for the books.
We went to eat at Cafe Athena after we freshened up. They served Greek and Mediterranean food. It was okay. Food lacks flavor, and it was pretty expensive. Most probably won’t go back. Anyhoo, we also drove around the area still using the scooter we rented for the whole day. We couldn’t find any souvenir or specialty shops around, but we were glad we were able to buy some sweet treats for our family and friends the next day at Puerto Princesa International Airport.
Nov 26, Saturday – Flight back home! The whole day was spent traveling to and fro.
It was a short trip. We couldn’t squeeze in other activities or destinations like the underground river without feeling exhausted. So yuuuuup. Will surely come back! I can’t wait to visit more places in Palawan.
