How is everyone doing? Life seems to be stuck on pause with the current situation we are facing now. It must have been really tough for most of us and I just hope you guys find the strength to get through this crisis and make all these restrictions as bearable and productive as possible.

Anyway, I decided to update this blog because I wanted to document my 27th birthday two days ago. Nothing grand happened. It just felt different though. I couldn’t be with my family or friends due to the extended enhance community quarantine, but that didn’t make my day any less special. I received tons of birthday greetings mostly from people I don’t know and not even close with–my parents are the ones responsible for this because they like to publicly post their greetings with my photos and videos on their timeline–and some throwback photos from friends. Fambam also sang happy birthday to me through video/voice calls. Asis did all the food preparation. He cooked spaghetti and tuna spring rolls for me, and just had the cake and a bucket of chicken delivered. And that pretty much it. A virtual celebration with my loved ones.

Playing

Asis and I have been playing Path Of Exile for a month already. This game is keeping us up late! The game is like the Diablo one I used to play when I was a kid. This is a free online-only action RPG game. So addictive!

Reading

I’ve been reading a lot actually. Wattpad stories, Twitter AUs, I still have an unfinished book: We Are Okay by Nina LaCour, and I’m planning on starting another story on Wattpad and Twitter.

Writing

This blog update. I’m kinda in the mood to blog since I can’t do anything that much because we got a shitty net connection for almost two months now.

Watching

None as of the moment. Well, I do have tons of unfinished Netflix/Kdrama series. It’s like I have acquired a habit of not finishing a series, especially Korean ones when it’s 2-4 episodes away from being done. And sometimes, I watch anime movies whenever I feel like it. The last one I saw was Castle in the Sky (1986) and I gave 9/10 stars. You can see my anime list here.

A vacation! It’s summer and I need a change of scenery. Staying at home for so long feels like time has slowed down. Oftentimes, I’ve lost track of what day of the week it is. I’m guessing it’s the same for most of us, hmm? But we got to stay at home. We need to work together to help stop the spread of the disease.

Wishing

For this COVID-19 pandemic to end. Wishing and praying they find the vaccine for this virus.

Hoping

For fewer work tasks next week and for the internet to be fixed.
